Cute/Cool was the art installation that Project '79 juniors developed in the spring of 2008 to explore what we mean by "cute" and "cool". Inspired by a story on WNYC's Studio 360, co-curators Peter Horn and Roy Chambers worked with students who sculpted, collaged, composed music, designed an indoor/outdoor gallery, and produced invisible theater (a lunchroom spectacle of toys coming to life) to advertise the show. What really is cool or cute--and what might get sacrificed at the altar of each? Directed in 2009 by Olivia Pomann. Re-cut in 2014 by Kye Fallone '16.
